Get in touch

To make an appointment with a lawyer or advocate at the Centre, please phone us during our opening hours. We will either make you an appointment, or provide you with a referral if we are not able to assist you. We cannot provide legal advice over the phone. If you prefer, you are welcome to call into the Centre and make an appointment with our reception staff.

Our services are free, as a result we limit our advice and advocacy to those who would not otherwise be able to access it. If you have the capacity to hire a private lawyer we would recommend doing so.

When requesting an appointment we will need to ask you a number of questions to ensure we meet our legal requirements and to assist us to determine we have the necessary capacity and resources to assist you with your matter. If we are unable to assist, we will provide you with appropriate referrals/referral to other services for assistance.

Everyone has the right to feel safe and to be treated respectfully at work. Please treat our staff with respect. Offensive, intimidating and inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
